LPS Associates Secures LifeSize Product Line Award through PEPPM

PEPPM Contract Award means Lower Cost, Simpler High-Definition Video Conferencing National Adoption for Schools, Libraries and Local Governments.

Blue Bell, Penn., http://www.lpsassociates.com,  January 5, 2011 – LPS Associates today announced it has been awarded the Pennsylvania Educational Purchasing Program for Microcomputers (PEPPM) LifeSize Communications video conferencing category bid for Pennsylvania, enabling LPS to offer LifeSize video systems, cameras, bridges, and video recording/streaming systems directly through the PEPPM website to Pennsylvania and all cooperative states. The PEPPM contract runs through December 31, 2011.

The PEPPM contract eliminates the formal bid process from the purchasing effort, allowing public entities such as local municipalities and educational institutions, e.g. elementary/secondary schools and libraries to directly purchase LifeSize’s versatile and cost effective, high performance video conferencing products directly via the PEPPM online automated portal. This streamlined procurement method saves agencies time and effort while leveraging economies of scale and affordable pricing.   Furthermore, other States (besides Pennsylvania) with State bid statutes and schools/agencies allowing the use of other State technology purchasing contracts can immediately reap the rewards of utilizing PEPPM for their purchasing needs as well.
